Orange Shirt Day – Every Child Matters

On the first day at residential school, survivor Phyllis Jack Webstad wore her shiny new orange shirt, bought by her grandmother. She loved it! However, it was taken from her as a six-year old girl at the school. September 30th was chosen because it is the time of year in which children were taken from their homes and forced onto a plane, bus or truck and sent to residential schools.

Amazing Turnout for Crossroads’ Virtual VBS on Castle

When COVID-19 led to summer camps being cancelled, it was sad news for children’s ministries and camps. Many activities were halted and moved to online platforms.

Crossroads received generous support allowing families from Canada, USA, and even in China, Nigeria, and Trinidad to attend our first Virtual Vacation Bible School on Castle.

Over $54,000 was raised in support through our generous donors, allowing us to host our very first Virtual Vacation Bible School this summer. On the week of August 10th, over 3,500 registered campers attended Bible learning, worship and fun activities that we had planned.
