World Water Day: Why Clean Water Matters

Clean water is the heartbeat of every northern Ugandan home. It’s the fragile line between sickness and survival, the daily choice between fear and the comfort of knowing your family can drink, cook, and live without harm.

It is the foundation of life, health, and opportunity, and yet thousands of people still lack access to safe, drinkable water.

Through Crossroads Cares, meaningful progress is being made. More than 260,000 people are now drinking clean water because of faithful support. But the need is not finished. Thousands more are still waiting.

This World Water Day, March 22, as you turn on one of your many taps, take a moment to remember those who cannot. And consider how we can stand together to bring clean water to every family.

Because every family deserves safe drinking water.
