Help Bring Great Joy to Indigenous Communities this Christmas!

I am so excited to tell you that this will be our best Christmas Gift Campaign to date thanks to our wonderful partners!

  • almost $300,000 worth of products from Canadian Bible Society
  • CD’s and DVDs from Joyce Meyer Canada
  • Indigenous New Testaments from Life Light Winnipeg
  • dry soup packages from Kids Against Hunger
  • Spark Youth Activity Books from Share Word Global
  • 5,000 units of socks, scarves, mitts, crayons

Each package will also include Crossroads’ annual Advent Devotional and HeyMeisha! poster and game for kids! These items are being sorted and packed to go to 122 communities all across the Subarctic including our newest friends at Benoit First Nation in Newfoundland and Labrador.

I also anticipated that shipping costs would exceed $50,000 which is almost double from last year. Praise God that Caribou Trucking of Prince Albert has agreed to distribute items to twenty Indigenous communities in northern Saskatchewan which will save us thousands of dollars.

Canadian Bible Society in North York has also agreed that First Peoples Voices can use part of their warehouse to receive items. They will also donate two of their warehouse staff to weigh and ship boxes in the first two weeks of November.

Please pray that we have enough volunteers to sort, pack and label the thousands of boxes until the work is done! Pray that everyone stays healthy and strong for the entire project.

Below are some photos from last year!

Praise God for my incredible trip to Val D’Or, Quebec to minister to over 200 Indigenous women from seven communities across northern Quebec September 15-18. I took our new social media Digital Strategist, Nicole Martinez, with me who was absolutely blown away by the beauty of these women.

Joyce Meyer Canada also donated 62 cases of CDs and DVDs for these women. Listen to the ‘awes’ of these women when I uncovered these gifts to the women! They were so blessed and are now praying for Joyce to speak at one of their conferences. Nothing is impossible with God.
