Mental Health Week: A Lifeline of Hope
Our Mental Health Week programming on 100 Huntley Street continues to resonate deeply with viewers across Canada. Many have shared how these conversations brought them comfort, healing, and a renewed sense of belonging.
Maria shared:
“What a good segment. I went to my minister years ago, and she was unprepared to handle this subject. I ended up leaving but returned when she left. I’m so glad this is being talked about in Mental Health Within Our Church Communities.”
Even in unexpected places, God is using this outreach.
Co-host Joe Amaral shared:
“A man stopped me in the grocery store just to say that our Mental Health Week programming helped him as he was going through some family struggles. He hugged me right there in the middle of the produce aisle! It’s incredible to hear firsthand how we are reaching people.”

Rachel, a breast cancer survivor, found strength through 100 Huntley Street’s focus on love and overcoming hardships:
“I especially appreciated Ann Mainse sharing her story of overcoming cancer. As a breast cancer survivor, I celebrate and rejoice with her after being cancer-free for five years (almost three years for me—praise God!).”
These stories serve as a reminder of God’s faithfulness—no matter what we face, His love sustains us.

- A downloadable prayer guide to help you pray daily for Canada
