Royal Anthems was created in response to a growing desire to hear what God is stirring in the hearts of Canadian worship leaders—songs rooted in the soil of this nation and written for such a time as this. Worship is one of the most unifying acts in the Church today—often making up a third to half of a service. While doctrines may differ, the songs we sing shape theology and form faith, cutting across denominational lines.

“We’ve sung American, British, and Australian songs for decades,” says Joel Auge, Executive Producer. “But God is stirring something in Canada—a sound for this moment, this people, and this land. Royal Anthems exists to capture and amplify that voice and share with the world.”

As the next step in this growing movement, The Second Songwriting Gathering will begin this May at Crossroads Unity Commons—a national media and ministry hub in Burlington, Ontario. This songwriting camp will once again gather Canadian worship pastors and creatives to pray, collaborate, and proclaim God’s dominion over our nation through worship.
