United in Prayer and Action: Crossroads Cares Responds to Hurricane Helene

Hurricane Helene has left a trail of devastation across the Southeast, affecting countless lives in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. Over 800 miles of destruction, more than 200 lives lost, and at least 600 people still missing. Communities are in desperate need of help as they grapple with the devastating aftermath. Crossroads Cares is responding to offer hope and tangible support to those in need.

Our response is twofold: prayer and action. We believe in the power of united prayer to bring comfort, strength, and divine intervention to those suffering. Crossroads Prayer Lines remain open 24/7 for anyone, anywhere, anytime at 1-866-273-4444.

*Ryan from New Jersey is requesting prayer for all those affected by the hurricane. He’s particularly worried about a childhood friend in North Carolina who he hasn’t been able to reach yet.

Crossroads is mobilizing resources to provide immediate relief and is partnering with a local organization to distribute emergency supplies, including food, water, and hygiene kits to survivors at this critical time.

As followers of Christ, we’re called to be His hands and feet in times of crisis. Your support can make a real difference. Whether through financial contributions or joining our prayer chain, every act of compassion counts.

“In the wake of Hurricane Helene, we’re witnessing both heartbreak and hope. The devastation is immense, but so is the outpouring of love and support that comes from our 100 Huntley Street and Crossroads supporters in times of urgent need. At Crossroads Cares, we believe in the power of united action guided by faith. Every prayer lifted and every dollar donated is a testament to God’s love in action. We’re not just providing immediate relief; we’re being the hands and feet of Jesus. This is more than disaster response – it’s about showing Christ’s love in tangible ways to those who need it most. Together, we can be a beacon of hope in this storm.”
