Amazing Turnout for Crossroads’ Virtual VBS on Castle
Now, the fun doesn’t stop there! Every camper received a ‘HEY MEISHA! Activity Magazine’ to continue learning more about the Bible in a fun and engaging way.
We believe that kids need quiet time, so we also ran a Pillow Fort competition. Building a Pillow Fort was a fun way to inspire kids to spend time with God in a cozy place of their own, complete with scripture verses and reminders of God’s love posted to their walls. We had over 500 families submit photos of their pillow forts!
Here are a few testimonials from campers and parents:
Hey Meisha, thank you for much for taking the time to do the online VBS for the kids, we really have been enjoying it. We made our pillow fort on the trampoline and all went out there as a family to do our devotions. As we snuggled up, we saw a shooting star…it will be an evening we will never forget.” – Michelle, mother of two
We need to continue to invest in the generations following us. There are so many ways that the world wants to take Jesus out of the conversation, but we are tasked with the mission of ensuring that every child we reach has a personal relationship with God.
Thank you for partnering with us!
Please pray that the 3,500 VBS campers will hold on to the lessons they’ve learned this summer and that their hearts will yearn for more of the Bible and a deeper relationship with God.
