BURLINGTON, ON, April 12, 2022 — It is with great sorrow we share with you the passing of Harry Voortman on Friday, April 8, 2022, just sixteen days after the loss of his precious wife “Annie.”

A renowned name in the culinary circle, Harry left his hometown in Holland in 1951 to immigrate to Canada and establish Voortman Cookies with his late brother William in Hamilton, Ontario.

Harry and Anne were the epitome of kindness, deeply committed to the cause of Christ, and always passionate about making a difference and impacting the lives of others. They were faithful friends of Crossroads for over 26 years. Our heartfelt condolences go out to their family and friends.

Harry left a boundless legacy that his light will keep shining in our hearts and souls as we continue revealing the transforming story of Jesus through inspiring and innovative media to anyone, anywhere, anytime.
