Humanly speaking, it was truly sad to hear of the medical struggles David endured for the past five years but totally amazed as he fought through this great battle with such great faith as he continued to keep his eyes on Jesus, His Lord and Saviour, as he continue to share his faith always pointing to the Saving power of Jesus Christ, and actively promoting the reading of the Word of God through the 100words blog and, in the past year and half, the vlog. What a powerful testimony of the faithfulness to God as he laid his hands on one man to be his instrument in sharing and promoting the Gospel. What a powerful testimony in the Celebration of Faith Service as we joined together to give thanks to God for His Life, Ministry and Devotion. What hope we have in Christ! Absent from the body and present with the Lord. “A Living Hope, a place reserved in Heaven”!! Blessings, encouragement, strength, comfort and peace to his wife of 59 years, Norma-Jean, and to his amazing family of sons and daughters, their spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren. May God continue to be glorified as we all have been challenged by David Mainse’s life of faithfulness in sharing the gospel, holding to the Word, fervent prayer and a commitment of reaching souls for Christ. I know I have been deeply challenged by his life. May God continue to use all of us for His Glory. (Samuel Fame)
