Words cannot describe the tremendous sense of loss we feel; this old world is so much poorer — but Heaven is so blest to receive our precious David Mainse. In all of my long years as a child of God, I have never known another whose total, joyous devotion to the Lord came close to that of this servant of the Lord. Every fibre of his being, body, soul, and spirit, was vibrant with his enthusiastic worship of his Master and his passion to draw the lost into the arms of the Saviour Who had died for them. He was one instance of total devotion to his Lord, and to the lost He had paid the ransom for. The Master will have welcomed him with great joy, and his reward will be great. He will see our Jesus, face to face, with great joy.
May the Master comfort those treasures he has left behind, and help them to take up the torch.
