- James B Cox from Victoria: Sorry for your loss a true pioneer of the modern Christain faith. One of the reasons the faith still is relevant and strong to this day and beyond. Gid Bless
- Ken Smid from Kitchener: On behalf of my wife and I, our sincerest condolences to the Mainse family on the passing of David. He truly was an inspiration and a spiritual father in Canada. The few times we had the opportunity to meet him, we knew we were standing in the presence of a general in the faith and his love, compassion and humility were so tangible. Our loss is heavens gain and we will meet again.
- Carol S from Scarborough ontario: Only in heaven can we ever know what an impact David's life and the ongoing Crossroads ministry has had and will continue to have in precious souls being redeemed. I have been a partner for many years and was first introduced to Huntley Street through my oldest sister when Father Bob was a regular on the program. I believe your work is needed now more than ever before and I will continue to pray for all who are involved in it. God bless you richly as you continue this wonderful ministry. Carol Stark

- Ed Neeland from Kelowna BC: Mixed emotions of David's passing. Regret for selfish reasons but joy for David's appearance before Jesus. Wouldn't that be something! David published an autobiography which still influences me to this day. I read David's autobiography as a young man and today, as a 58 year old Chemistry professor, it still influences me to this day. A priceless story of God working through the love of one man for Jesus. I know it's difficult but let's rejoice for David. And we're next! I type that with anticipation not dread.
- John from Winnipeg: Sorry to hear about the loss of a great pioneer of 100 Huntley Street. He will be greatly missed. I remember calling in to a prayer partner, and was so glad to hear from a caring voice. My condolences to his friends and family. John
