  • Rae Churchill from Edmonton: Words cannot describe the tremendous sense of loss we feel; this old world is so much poorer -- but Heaven is so blest to receive our precious David Mainse. In all of my long years as a child of God, I have never known another whose total, joyous devotion to the Lord came close to that of this servant of the Lord. Every fibre of his being, body, soul, and spirit, was vibrant with his enthusiastic worship of his Master and his passion to draw the lost into the arms of the Saviour Who had died for them. He was one instance of total devotion to his Lord, and to the lost He had paid the ransom for. The Master will have welcomed him with great joy, and his reward will be great. He will see our Jesus, face to face, with great joy. May the Master comfort those treasures he has left behind, and help them to take up the torch.
  • Eric: OK so I'm Catholic, and I am not a member of his congregation. Still, I believe David Mainse is a man who truly loved (and loves even more now) Jesus. Because of this, I think he is beloved by Him. Please pray for him and the repose of his soul to join into the creator he so loves.immediately. Prayer is never unanswered - and it won't hurt to do this nor for anyone who so loves the Lord.
  • Isabel Bruce from Williams lake B.C.: My mother and I have watched 100huntley for years. She's gone on now . So it's just me , I also look forward to your 100 words blog each morning with my coffee. Sending love and prayers to all your family and staff at 100huntley. You will be missed by so many. My favorite bible verse. The joy of the Lord is my strength.
  • Maureen & Ernie Norman from Dryden, On: Saddened to know that we have lost a spiritual giant, but happy to have personally met him several times. I remember the evening that my phone rang, when the voice on the other line spoke, there was no mistaking that voice. He asked if it was possible For me to set up a meeting with a meal & invite some people. It was a beautiful time of fellowship & of course he wanted done testimonies. Lol He will surely be missed, but his legacy lives on & in capable hands, support if family & a strong ministry Our heart & love goes out to beautiful Norma Jean & his huge beautiful families. Now rejoicing with the angels, waiting for his family & friends to join in the heavenly celebrating with Jesus, our Saviour & Lord Praise the Lord Love The Norman Family
  • Linda Brown from Wasaga Beach: May you feel Jesus right beside each member of your family! May everyone see the reflection of Jesus in this celebration of the life of Pastor Mainse! The lives He touched out number the stars ! He was a blessing to my soul and will always be in my heart. He wrote to me personally to teach me about how God wants my attention always not just sometimes. It was a letter of honest love even though he did not even know me. He answered my questions! God love your family and bless all you will do in the future.
  • Luisa from Hamilton: I started watching 100 Huntley in 2010. It brought me peace and hope during a difficult time. I listened to the many inspiring stories on the program which brought me to another level in my own relationship with God. The prayer team was also a great support. Though what touched me the most was the absolute warmth my mom and I experienced from David Mainse and his lovely wife Norma Jean, upon visiting the Crossroads Centre for a healing prayer service back in 2014. We were the first to arrive and never having been there before, perhaps felt a little awkward. Not to mention we are also Catholic, but does that really matter when we all love and believe in our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ? Suddenly, in walks David Mainse and approaches us with the biggest smile. He graciously welcomed us and made us feel at home. Before leaving the Centre my mom was sitting in the lobby waiting for me. When I returned she told me that Norma Jean came up to her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. I was so touched! What a beautiful and god-filled man, along with his wife. I pray that now David our friend and brother, is in his eternal home with God the Father. Thank you for all you have done through your ministry.and for your wonderful family and team that will carry on your legacy. We will miss you David Mainse.
  • Samuel Fame from SURREY: Humanly speaking, it was truly sad to hear of the medical struggles David endured for the past five years but totally amazed as he fought through this great battle with such great faith as he continued to keep his eyes on Jesus, His Lord and Saviour, as he continue to share his faith always pointing to the Saving power of Jesus Christ, and actively promoting the reading of the Word of God through the 100words blog and, in the past year and half, the vlog. What a powerful testimony of the faithfulness to God as he laid his hands on one man to be his instrument in sharing and promoting the Gospel. What a powerful testimony in the Celebration of Faith Service as we joined together to give thanks to God for His Life, Ministry and Devotion. What hope we have in Christ! Absent from the body and present with the Lord. "A Living Hope, a place reserved in Heaven"!! Blessings, encouragement, strength, comfort and peace to his wife of 59 years, Norma-Jean, and to his amazing family of sons and daughters, their spouses, grandchildren and great grandchildren. May God continue to be glorified as we all have been challenged by David Mainse's life of faithfulness in sharing the gospel, holding to the Word, fervent prayer and a commitment of reaching souls for Christ. I know I have been deeply challenged by his life. May God continue to use all of us for His Glory. (Samuel Fame)
  • Tracy Worby from Regina: I loved His heart. I felt Jesus through him!! Thanks for teaching me more about the heart of God, Mr. Mainse. See you again one day. ????
  • Molly Gray from Airdrie: To The Mainse/Crossroads Family & Friends, I am so very grateful to have been a part of this wonderful ministry. David Mainse's story is an incredible message of hope and a significant reminder of Jesus' Faithful Companionship to those who love Him. David made his life work about making Jesus' Will, his command. What a testament to his faith. I am sure he is being welcomed Home in a Heavenly Celebration. His earthly journey has ended, and yet David's dream and his love will live on in his family, friends of Crossroads, as they carry on God's Work. My Thoughts & Prayers Are With You All!
  • Rae Churchill from Edmonton: David was such a precious gift from God to His world! His utter devotion to the Lord, his compassion, his love, his joy, his vibrant outpouring of all God planted in him will continue to bless and minister to all of us. May his legacy in his precious family continue to do the same. Thank You, Lord!
