The celebration of life was amazing. Thank you for posting it in full. Thank you to mainse family for standing in the gap for Canada.
Daniel Ippolito - Former Pastor of Howard Park Pentecostal Church from Burlington, Ontario
God said of David the king of Israel "I have found David, the son of Jessie, a man after my own heart, who will do all my will." I believe God would say the same concerning David Mainse: "I have found a man after my own heart, who will do all my will. David Mainse has left all of us who knew him a great legacy - and our country of Canada, a great example of a Christian leader who, without fear and without compromise, declared God's message of truth and the gospel of Jesus to multitudes of listeners through five (5) decades of time on 100 Huntley Street and Crossroads Television and the extended Electronic Media. To God be the Glory! May God's comfort and strength uphold the Mainse family and may the 100 Huntley Street Leaders and Staff be strengthened, inspired and encouraged to continue the legacy left by David Mainse. David Mainse's ministry, his gentle spirit, compassion and love will be remembered by many for years to come. Daniel and Angie Ippolito

You are with the Lord now. We will miss you. My daughter asked if she was in the front row in the audience one day and David took her doll and gave it a hug. I said yes he did. She was happy it was for real and not a dream. I think it would be 34 years ago. A pleasure David. Thank you.
Anne from Dartmouth
My sincerest condolences to the Mainse Family and the Crossroads Family. Thank you David Mainse for a a life well lived and for pouring out so much love to so many. David was instrumental in me making a commitment to Christ. I learned so much from him and the team in my early Christian days and am forever grateful to him and Crossroads. What a beautiful legacy he has left behind! I remember meeting David years ago at a meeting in Nova Scotia. I brought my Roman Catholic cousin who I was trying to lead to the Lord. He said to me, he glows and was very interested in having what he had. Now, many years later he will be ordained a priest soon and he does know the Lord:) I credit that to the conversation we had after that night when he made a commitment to Jesus! Thank you for opening doors for all denominations. Well done, thy good and faithful servant!

Love, prayers and condolences to you Norma Jean and all the Mainse family. David was a spiritual father to me and I am already missing him. Over the years 100 Huntley St. has blessed me and was my stay when caring for my mother. The outreach of "Household Salvation" encouraged my faith for the salvation of my father. It was a great experience for my mother and I to attend the opening of the new building. Then to be able to take the Israel Tour, to be baptized in the River Jordan and attend the World Pentecostal Conference was wonderful! And in the last five years to participate in 100Words.ca has been such an inspiration. Thank you Lord for sending your obedient servant David Mainse and God bless all you!

Our deepest sympathy and sincerest condolences. "Life is real !   Life is earnest!         And the grave is not its goal ;     Dust thou art, to dust returnest, Was not spoken of the soul. Lives of great men all remind us         We can make our lives sublime,     And, departing, leave behind us         Footprints on the sands of time ; Longfellow"

Dear Norma Jean and family I was the first in my family to receive Christ and God often used Huntley street disciple me in the early 80's It was a faithful friend over the years as I have sought to live for Jesus. I have been so inspired to meet the man behind the camera, listening to the memorial stories of David's Spirit -led walk with God , his fervent prayer life and adventuresome spirit and I have strengthened anew to live strong in the Lord for this present time and to be on our way rejoicing!!! God bless and keep you all!!

David was a blessing, a encourager, a role model of what our Christian life should be. We so enjoyed having them at Bonny Shores in Florida, and we will miss him very much. But, he is seeing the fruit of his labour now, and celebrating thanksgiving with his many friends in heaven, and one of them is my dear husband Rudy Jankovic, who went to Glory June 10, 2014. Our prayers are with you Norma- Jean, and your dear family

What a great man of God David was. Such an example for us all. He will be missed but because of Jesus' sacrifice we know he is rejoicing in heaven. What a hope. Praying that the great Comforter will comfort the family at this time. God bless.

We are saddened to hear of the passing of David Mainse. Our sincere condolences to Norma Jean and the family. He truly was a Man of God, a warrior in the army of Jesus and a pioneer in TV religious broadcasting in Canada. What a difference and a blessing the 100 Huntley Street TV program and its various programs have been to us and the world. We met David on one of his Cross Canada tours and had lunch with him in Pincher Creek. I myself have watched I00 Huntley Street since 1986, and Vancouver Expo. Amazing times. Praise to God for David's work ethic and commitment. Edna Mackenzie

Dear Norma-Jeans, Today I've discovered that your wonderful husband David Mainse passed away on Sept. 25th this year. I had the privilege to attend 1982 the first training course on 100 Huntley street together with 5 other students. I pray that God almighty will comfort you and give you everything what you need! God loves you and so do we, Walter & Theresa Kast - Switzerland

100 Huntley Street has been in my life since the early 70s. My mother was a phone volunteer and my son and I would watch David Mainse preaching in front of all the prayer warriors on the phones. My son would yell Grandma when she'd appear on the TV screen behind David. David always made me laugh with his funny jokes and cry with his empathetic Word-inspired prayers for healing and salvation. There was nothing else like him on TV or in the pulpits. He was a joy to watch, so full of zeal for God and He will be greatly missed. I hope you show full episodes of him preaching from the 70s. On my mom's death bed my dad ran to the phone and we all asked for prayers from 100 Huntley Street. Thank you for being there for us.

Your friends at FaithLife Financial are extending our deepest sympathies to you at this difficult time of loss. As Christians we do not grieve as those who have no hope, because our hope is secure in the beautiful redemptive work of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. David believed wholeheartedly in the promises of God and Psalm 116:15 says, “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his faithful servants.” As you remember all of the ways that he was a faithful servant, may you sense God’s peace that passes all understanding.
