Christmas Blessings: A Call to Support First Peoples Voices

By Bev Hadland

I am profoundly grateful to be part of the transformative work at First Peoples Voices, where stories of hope, healing, and reconciliation with the First Nations, Inuit, and Metis people of Canada come to life. In the midst of challenges, I’ve encountered inspiring individuals deeply rooted in their love for the land, their communities, and Jesus. It’s a calling that resonates with Crossroads’ mission to be a beacon of hope and light, providing a listening ear and blessings as needed.

As we reflect on the profound impact your generosity has made, we’re also faced with the reality that FPV has encountered financial challenges, a testament to the urgent global needs that continue to arise.  Your unwavering support has always met challenges head-on, and we celebrate the incredible ways God works through your generosity. However, First Peoples Voices has experienced a notable decline in contributions which could impact our ability to continue our vital work.

This Christmas, we humbly ask for your support. Your financial gift or prayers for provision will make a significant difference. The images below capture the profound impact of your giving throughout the year. You’ve enabled children to attend summer camps, provided seeds for community gardens, celebrated Christmas with hot meals and gifts for hundreds, and delivered essential items to single-parent homes and the elderly.

Your generosity has empowered prayer ministry, offering encouragement and teaching believers how to pray with scripture, declaring victory in their communities. At Crossroads, we believe that God cares for people through His people. This Christmas, please join First Peoples Voices in extending care to our First Nations, Inuit, and Metis brothers and sisters. Together, we bring hope, encouragement, and the love of Jesus.
