Madagascar Drought Feeding: Helping families facing starvation

Every time I visit one of our Crossroads Cares projects, I am in awe at the bright and beautiful smiles I see, knowing the harsh reality of their circumstances. Southern Madagascar is currently facing consecutive below average rainfall seasons causing severe drought conditions. As a result, approximately 1.64 million people are facing critical food crises. Globally, food prices have sky-rocketed and sadly, the impact is life and death for those living in remote regions where access is already a struggle. Families are forced to exist on Cacti, to survive. Adults and children are malnourished and in need of food.

Thankfully, we are going to do something about it with your help! In partnership with the local church in Madagascar along with World Renew, every dollar you give will be matched up to 4 times through a grant from the Canadian Foodgrains Bank. Together, as the body of Christ, we are going to support families with beans, rice, and oil to help carry them through this critical period. Please help us feed families in crisis.
