Copywriter/Graphic Designer
Purpose of position
We are seeking a creative self-starter with a passion for copywriting, design, and digital media who will be responsible for ensuring that the promotional materials written for Anyone Pray, Crossroads’ omni-channel SaaS software for 24/7 prayer centers, is clear, relevant, and jargon-free, and most importantly, matches Crossroad’s brand voice and tone.
The Copywriter/Graphic Designer will support the optimization and implementation of our Anyone Pray marketing strategy, including digital engagement strategy with a focus on website copy, subscriber case studies, social media channels and related creatives, in support of our program promotions and fundraising efforts. It secondarily exists to support the Marketing team.
Responsibilities
Anyone Pray
- Help advance Anyone Pray’s online presence, creating inspiring content to increase our audience and deepen visitor engagement.
- Support and contribute to the day-to-day execution of Anyone Pray marketing initiatives
- Develop and produce impactful content on multiple platforms, including social, web, print, broadcast, and events, to convert awareness to action and inspire prospects to sign up for Anyone Pray.
- Contribute to and implement the Anyone Pray awareness strategy to support revenue and communications objectives via the Anyone Pray website, email campaigns, and social media channels.
- Assist in the tactical planning of integrated marketing campaigns for Anyone Pray’s program goals.
- Develop striking creative assets that amplify our brand, ensuring a distinctive look and feel.
- Provide design and copywriting skills and expertise to bring an added dimension to our case for support, elevating communications materials such as the case for support, long-form testimonials, website copy, presentations, and other program collateral.
- Design, brand, and refresh projects, campaigns, and initiatives.
- Help guide centralized Anyone Pray brand management functions, design, and best practices.
- Support Back-End developers (with intended/expected UX/UI behaviors) when required.
- Leverage digital properties and activate new strategies in consultation with the Chief Strategy Officer and Director of Marketing and Marketing, to increase awareness and engagement of selected programs.
Crossroads Marketing
- Provide copy-writing support for Marketing when priorities allow
Qualifications and experience
- College diploma or university degree in digital communications, advertising, fundraising, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 or more years’ professional experience in digital marketing, brand activation, or fundraising
- Proven experience working with digital media (I.e., Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) to amplify content, manage reputation, develop relationships, and drive website traffic
- Experience developing and working with brand style guides
- Strong understanding of social media and email marketing
- Proficient in working on a team with remote or hybrid workflows
- Advanced knowledge in using Adobe Creative Suite including experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, xD
- Skilled in building email campaigns using Constant Contact or similar
- Strong creative communication skills and organization
- Proficiency in working with standard Office software in a Mac OS environment (I.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong organizational & detail management skills
- Understanding of project management
