Bringing Freedom and Restoration to Survivors of Trafficking in Cambodia
At Crossroads, we’re deeply committed to standing against the injustice of human trafficking and seeing lives transformed. That’s why we’re inviting you to join us for a special Missions program “Restoring Hope,” November 14th on 100 Huntley Street, focused on ending trafficking in Cambodia.
Over 83,000 Cambodians are currently trapped in modern-day slavery. Many of these victims were lured by traffickers’ false promises of well-paying jobs, only to be subjected to brutal conditions, violence, and left with no way home. The trauma and destitution they face upon returning is heartbreaking.
But together, we can restore hope and see lives radically changed. Our goal for this special Missions program is to raise $100,000 to fund critical programs in four key areas:
Prevention – Educating vulnerable families and communities about traffickers’ tactics, and providing alternative solutions to protect the next generation.
Protection – Collaborating with national systems to safeguard the vulnerable and support survivors.
Return – Working with agencies to bring survivors home from other countries and connect them with recovery programs.
Restoration – Providing trauma counseling, skills training, education, and family support to help survivors live freely and achieve their dreams.
Your generous gift can make an immediate and lasting impact:
- $78 provides welcome packages with essential hygiene items for newly rescued survivors
- $112 helps furnish sustainable income sources, like pigs, to empower families and prevent exploitation
- $650 empowers a rescued survivor to start their own business and build an independent, thriving life
- $1,000 covers critical costs of the rescue, rehabilitation, and reintegration process
On November 14th, join us in raising $100,000 to bring freedom, healing, and a future of hope to survivors of human trafficking in Cambodia. Your gift today can help restore the lives that have been so cruelly taken.
