Social Media Digital Producer

Purpose of position

This hands-on position will engage on all social media platforms reacting and responding to current news, cultural and Christian trends adding our voice to the conversations. The Social Media Digital Producer acts both as a creative storyteller and a culture-watcher: passionate about evangelism, skilled at trend-spotting, and quick to activate digital opportunities that reach new audiences and grow 100 Huntley Street’s digital footprint.

Responsibilities

1.      Digital Strategy & Engagement

  1. Collaborate with producers to create and implement a plan that includes 100 Huntley Street storytelling brand, real-time current-events responses, emerging topics, and national conversations.
  2. Implement a“digital-first” approach that leverages new and archived content to meet growth and fiscal goals across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X (Twitter).
  3. Develop a six-week social media calendar that integrates seasonal campaigns, trending topics, faith-based moments, daily show content, and podcast and caters to Unique Viewer Criteria for each digital platform.

2.      Trend-Based Content Creation

  1. Stay ahead of the scroll. Identify and jump on trending sounds, memes, reels, and hashtags—always connecting them back to Jesus and the mission of hope.
  2. Create dynamic messaging, sourcing new and archived content (reels, short-form videos, social cards, carousels, polls, livestreams) that blend creativity, cultural relevance, and spiritual impact.
  3. Capture behind-the-scenes moments from studio and field production days—turning authentic moments into viral-ready ministry moments.
  4. Source, edit, and repurpose show clips for social and digital platforms in EMAM.

3.      Evangelism Through Media

  1. Develop quick-turn ministry responses that speak biblically and compassionately into breaking news and national conversations.
  2. Partner with guests, ministries, and influencers toamplify gospel reach through co-branded campaigns, livestreams, and shareable moments.

4.      Podcast & Web Management

  1. Create weekly podcast assets (Reels, IG stories, GFX) and track metrics in shareable reports.
  2. Manage daily website updates: full shows, clips, bios, images, and copy accuracy.
  3. Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure seamless digital performance.

5.      Innovation, Monetization & Growth

  1. Recommend new ways tomonetize social platforms, promote ministry content, and connect digital engagement to fiscal impact.
  2. Attend meetings to present analytics, trends, and creative growth opportunities.
  3. Regularly analyze data and audience insights to refine strategies that drive engagement, reach, and conversions.

Qualifications and experience

  • Degree in communications, journalism, or marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2-5 years’ experience managing social media accounts and strategy for a corporate organization, ministry or business
  • Experience with Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, podcast platforms, and website platforms
  • Experience with content creation for social media
  • Experience creating and managing a social media calendar
  • Proven demonstration of muti project facilitation skills
  • Copywriting
  • Editing skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Though some remote work will be available, the successful candidate will be able to work in office/studio as required as well as be able to work flexible hours.
