Organization and Reporting

This position is a full time, on-site* role and reports to the COO/CCO.
*(Subject to pandemic protocols at the time of hire)
Areas of Responsibility
- Liaise on behalf of COO with management of CCCI on the implementation of the organization’s strategic and operational plans to completion and with management of CCCI and YES TV in areas that fall under the portfolio of the CCO.
- Effectively represent the COO/CCO in selected internal and external interactions.
- Assist with facilitation of meetings and follow up actions.
- Assist with strategic corporate internal communications.
- Perform administration tasks to include the preparation of meeting minutes, reports, various correspondence, and completion of accounting forms.
- Support other administration duties from the C-Suite as required.
Specific Duties
Communications
- Develop & implement a corporate communications process for Crossroads.
- Contribute to external communication pieces as required.
- Respond to emails when necessary to ensure the workflows are not delayed or paused.
- Assist with creating and documenting operational policies for Crossroads that involve HR, communications & operations.
Facilitation
- Help manage content meetings, research on content trends & follow up on necessary contracts.
- Work with Directors and department heads to implement and complete corporate plans by assisting key strategic priorities and translating them into actionable items as directed by the COO/CCO.
Administration
- Schedule and organize meetings.
- Take meeting notes, create follow up plans & track progress on projects.
- Monitor budgets.
- When necessary, negotiate contracts with external consultants and other organizations to provide services in support of organization change and development where these cannot be accomplished by in-house resources.
Miscellaneous
- Help the COO/CCO with awareness of media trends, topics, business journals & overall newsworthy items.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience
The preferred candidate will have the following education and experience:
- University/College degree in Communications/Business Administration /Media Studies.
- General understanding of media/broadcast.
- 3-5 years of project management/administration experience working effectively with multiple levels of management and functional roles within a complex working environment.
- Experience with effective preparation and review of executive communications.
- Proven influential ability to drive team to deliver results.
