Front End Developer

The Front-End Developer will build and maintain Anyone Pray front and back-end applications, Crossroads’ omni-channel SaaS contact center software for use in 24/7 prayer centers thereby contributing greatly to our opportunity to dramatically grow the ministry internally and with external partners with this innovative and inspiring software.


Areas of Responsibility:

  1. Use reporting/business intelligence tools, mobile applications, and integrations to build comprehensive, data-driven, interactive, and mobile-friendly applications with seamless integration of various services.
  2. Work daily with the Anyone Pray software team to deliver expected
  3. Contribute significantly to sprints, meet sprint deadlines, help other team members with their sprint commitments and take the lead on urgent tasks.
  4. Interpret the needs of the Lead Designer, team members, and users into a useful and robust feature
  5. Solve technical problems by working closely with UX, product lead, and remote volunteer

Specific Duties:

  1. Implement the feature set as defined by the Anyone Pray roadmap using React, JavaScript, and React Native focused on deliverable timelines and deadlines.
  2. Report weekly to the Anyone Pray Product Manager on timelines and
  3. Create and review technical requirements to provide feedback on test specifications.
  4. Perform rigorous end to end regression testing to ensure quality and stability of software.
  5. Contribute ideas and recommendations to enable the best

Qualifications and experience

Qualifications and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering (or equivalent experience).
  2. Experience with contact center or customer communications/telephony software development.
  3. 5+ years of software development and testing experience.
  4. 3+ years of experience with JavaScript and React.js.
  5. Experience with software integrations and building middleware connectors.

Required Skills

    1. Knowledge of Twilio contact center services – Twilio Flex, Programmable Voice, Chat, SMS, Taskrouter, Flex Insights, etc.
    2. Mobile Application Development
    3. API Integrations: Third-party APIs, payment gateways, social media APIs
    4. Strong knowledge of RESTful Services/APIs and ability to understand and troubleshoot issues with cloud solutions.
    5. Ability to write well-tested and documented
    6. Strong Quality Assurance testing and documentation techniques
    7. Solid version control experience
    8. Strong Database Architecture skills
    9. Strong understanding of OOP concepts
    10. Strong communication skills: in person, on paper, or in You can explain technical concepts to product managers, other engineers, and customer support teams.
    11. Ability to mentor engineers on best practices, development techniques, code quality,
    12. Advanced time management skills, ability to work well under pressure, and proficiency at developing workflows to increase troubleshooting efficiency while still following standard processes and procedures.
    13. Good understanding of Web performance optimization, security best practices, SEO basics, Agile/Scrum methodologies
