Billy Graham's "Rock the River" to Air on CTS Across CanadaCrossroads Produced Youth Special Airs October 30thBURLINGTON, ONTARIO - October 20, 2010. Crossroads Television System (CTS) is airing an exclusive two-hour television special of the high energy Christian event “Rock the River" featuring performances by popular Christian bands and messages from Franklin Graham on Saturday, October 30th at 8:00 p.m. local time and on satellite at 8:00 p.m. EST.Crossroads Christian Communications Inc. together with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) produced the youth television special during the "Rock the River" Western Canada tour in August. "Rock the River" is a Christian rock concert tour that has come to Canada after many successful events in the USA. "Rock the River" Tours feature performances by the Christian bands Hawk Nelson, Starfield, Skillet, Downhere, and Lecrae, as well as messages from Franklin Graham, President and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. The events are aimed at reaching youth who normally would not attend church. The BGEA is extending their reach and investment in Canadian youth by partnering with Crossroads, and airing the special on CTS stations in Calgary and Edmonton on Saturday, October 30th at 8:00 p.m. MST, and in Ontario and over satellite on Bell TV channel 651 and Shaw Direct channel 355 on Saturday, October 30th at 8:00 p.m. EST.
