Crossroads and CTS Announce Executive Leadership TeamGoals Include Expanded Faith and Values Content and Increasing ViewershipBURLINGTON, ONTARIO - March 17, 2010. Crossroads Christian Communications Inc. (CCCI) and Crossroads Television System Inc. (CTS TV) have each announced a comprehensive reorganization to position their resources behind a combined new vision. The vision is supported by three measurable objectives: to expand faith and values content; increase viewership; and extend care to their audiences while inspiring acts of service.The reorganization has created six content categories each led by an experienced Executive Producer. They include News and Current Affairs; Opinion and Talk Shows; Youth and Young Adults; Children; Family Entertainment and Specials; and 100 Huntley Street, the flagship daily program that will remain in a category of its own. The functional departments will be structured to support increased content creation with optimized resource usage. A single executive leadership team includes, Chief Executive Officer, Don Simmonds; Chief Operating Officer Byron Winsor, a 15-year leader at Crossroads who also carries the role of Shared Operations Officer; Ron Mainse as Spiritual Director with the added responsibility of Executive Producer of 100 Huntley Street; Bruce Stacey, in the position of Chief Content Officer (recognized for creating award winning family and children’s productions including “God Rocks!”) with additional roles as Executive Producer for both the Children’s and Family Entertainment categories; Chief Financial Officer Matt Hillier, CA who served CTS in this role for the last 11 years; and veteran Gary Gerard who carries the responsibility of Chief Development Officer, overseeing all types of revenue and sales in both organizations. Don Simmonds, recently appointed as Chief Executive Officer for Crossroads and CTS explains the new vision, “we will provide a relevant message of faith and values for Canadians of all ages, along their whole faith journey, using new digital media platforms in addition to TV, thereby extending our reach on a global basis.” Simmonds continues, “this broadened vision for our programming matrix includes interactive engagement with our audiences.
