Crossroads Missions Warehouse

Responding to the Needs of Developing Worlds

Since 1982, the Emergency Response & Development Fund of Crossroads has provided a means whereby Canadians can respond to the destruction, death and psychological trauma caused by natural disasters, wars, and poverty in the ‘Developing World’.

In response to our Canadian partners wanting to do more for people around the world, we created the “Crossroads Missions Warehouse.” Located at 1645 Colborne St. E., Brantford, Ontario, the warehouse facility is designed to receive quality donated items, which are shipped to qualified projects in developing countries. We also present the local community with an opportunity to get involved in global voluntary service, without the necessity to travel overseas. Volunteer ‘service centres’ are where computer repairs, bicycles, sewing, and children’s gift bags are prepared for shipping.

Containers Shipped

To date, we have shipped over 45 containers. Both 20ft. and 40ft. size containers have been shipped to over 18 countries benefitting a variety of organizations. In addition we work through many relief and missions' partners that organize work teams by offering supplies from the warehouse. We also supply our own schools, community development projects, medical clinics and hospitals as well as many other hospitals or medical facilities that are in desperate need.
